Just spent my first winter as a "snowbird".  Wow, am I getting old!!! Have to say it wasn't all that bad.  We enjoyed living on the desert and being able to go golfing and hiking in January.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Thanks Barbie and Susie for all your hard work.

Hi all you Ike High classmates! I am looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.  We grew up in a special time and place, with very special people,  so I have fond memories of it all.  I've been doing the usual life stuff-My husband, Randy and I have been married 15 years.  My step-daughter Megan (27) and husband Mac, have 2 children, so-yes, I am a Granny.  If someone had told me being a grandmom was so much fun, I would have had children myself.  My #2 step-daughter is getting married in June and will be living in Aspen. My step-son Justin,(25) will be leaving for New Zealand to spend a few months with my Brother-in-law's family.  I started a business in 2000 and my husband came to work for me in 2005.  I am thrilled to be hitting my 10th year in business.  My Mom (Kleta) says to say hello to you all.  She is living in San Diego about a mile away from my youngest sister, Jamie.  It's great to have them down there for our warm weather golf week-ends.  Randy's parents are living in Florida so we get quality golf time on both coasts.  If you would like more info on the life and times of Callie-email me!  Bless your hearts and I will be seeing you in July.

Married 8+ years to a great guy; loving life together -- travels, theater, cabin in the woods... and, recently, granddaughters! Oh yeah, he thinks this is our 30-year reunion so don't tell him otherwise, k? (ha!) Looking forward to seeing everyone. Thanks, Barb & Sue (and helpers)!

Kudos to Sue and Barb for their hard work putting this together.

I've had a pretty interesting life.  Went a few years to college, majored in music and psychology (primarily for my own benefit).  Got into local bands and moved to Seattle in the early 70's, where I met my husband, Gerry, a fellow musician.  Toured the U.S. and Canada with bands, sometimes backing up name groups, such as The Animals, Buffalo Springfield, Bo Donaldson, Sam and Dave and relcated to California. in the mid-70's

I have lived in Southern California for 32 years.  I love the climate and activity.  I have also worked as a waitress, hairdresser, salesman, secretary, bookkeeper and musician and now I am an full time operations manager and a part time musician on the side.  It is fun to be in the hub of the entertainment business and meet celebrities too, as our UK based company sells high end loudspeakers.

I have three sons (29, 21, 12).  Two are autistic, so that has been a challenge.  I became an expert on autism by default and enforced my knowledge by saturating the library and attending seminars and was a VP of the Autism Society for many years.  My older sons have a good life on a ranch nearby and we visit often.  My almost 13 year old son lives with me and has inherited the interest in music.  He also loves sports.  He plans to go to college.

We travel a lot and visit in Washington every summer, as most of my immediate family are still there, although we are originally from Missouri.  I have been to England, Mexico, Canada and 26 of the US states, including Hawaii.

I love reading, gardening, hiking, music, movies, animals and nature.   I'm looking forward to retiring some day and living in a small town with animals and greenery everywhere, but am enjoying my comfy modern townhouse in Orange County in the interim.

I have been living in the Puget Sound area since leaving Yakima in 1971 after I finished nursing school.  I was married a few months later to the same guy now for nearly 38 years.  We have three grown children and two grandchildren.  We enjoy our family and spend as much time as possible with them.  Other than raising children and living life I have enjoyed a great nursing career.  I have worked throughout the US as a corporate nurse that eventually led me to opening my own consulting company and have been working for multiple companies primarily in the state for nine years.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone, time passes too quickly but memories never fade.

Since our 30th reunion, my life has taken a giant turn. In 2003, I met John, my husband, at the ranch where I board and ride my horse.  His daughter and I were riding buddies and the three of us hit it off.  We got married in 2006.  We live in Yakima and continue to love the friends, family, weather, and ease of life in this familiar old place.  We have 4 horses, 3 dogs, a cat, and no ranch.  Go figure.John is a radiologist and I'm continuing with the humbling/inspiring job of designing and making wedding rings and other bling-type items.  On any given day, you might hear some swear words floating out of the little studio in my house, where I hammer and saw metal into submission!John and I love to ride our bicycles in faraway places.  So far, we've been to Italy, France, and Spain (our honeymoon.) It's so much fun to discover a new country through the back roads and small hotels that our routes include.Lately I've discovered the "oh good, oh no"  game of golf. Just when I get ready to break up with golf, it gives me that one perfect shot, and I'm back in. I always thought that golf was just for people after they got old.  Now I think that golf made them old!! Can't wait to read the bios that come in for our reunion website!  Thanks to Sue and Barb for getting things started.

I never dreamed I’d be living in Yakima again.  After 39 years in Seattle, I began to mold.  It was time to leave the rain, traffic, stress and karma behind for a quieter more peaceful life.  Last August, I put my condo on the market and watched it sit and sit.  I’ve had a great view from the inside of the toilet where I’ve been treading water with the rest of the economy.  But, I’m a good swimmer, so am carving out a nice little niche for myself her in Yakima.
I’m renting a Victorian house (circa 1880) on Sharon Way and am planting two large vegetable gardens on the property.
I merged my business with Coralie’s on Track 29 ( kind of funky and low keyed) in trade to help her with alterations and custom design, no stress, no rent, no-brainer.
I’m learning to relax and enjoy life.  Of course, a little chardonnay always helps.  Stop by the house, have a glass or two and watch the lettuce grow.

I LOVE my life.  I came into completeness after marriage to Roy.  High school and college didn't do it for me.  Wish cell phones and email had been around when my kids were young!  Our daughter Sara is a classical dancer and instructor in Colorado, and our Adam is an EMT and extreme sports enthusiast in Cashmere.  They are both married and VERY happy.  Roy and I are enjoying the freedom of no children.  I am continuing to enjoy working as a Speech and Language Pathologist for the local public schools - my favorite are the most severe students.  Roy is the Emergency Response Trainer and Fire Chief for a mill and local fire stations.  We spend our free time at our cute beach cabin and traveling.  Looking forward to retirement in two years with a trip to the Antarctic!!  If I complain about work, my assistant has been advised to whisper "penguins" to keep me sane.  Recently bought a new car - I think it is a sign of my times that it was not a red miata, but a Prius! HAH!
Blessings to all...I will not be present for the BIG PARTY! -jkc
